The chef's personality is wonderful. Despite his tough exterior, he is approachable, kind, and has a strong service spirit, making it easy to be drawn to him. The sushi is generally thick-cut, allowing you to fully savor the natural flavors of the fish, which I really enjoyed. The vinegared rice is made with red vinegar and melts in your mouth, leaving a gentle sweetness. The chef also serves a variety of carefully selected dishes between the sushi courses. I was particularly impressed by the straw-fired dishes prepared in-house and the sweet simmered monkfish liver. The chef's personality and the gentle way he looks at his apprentices were very memorable. He has a playful spirit. The two hours flew by.
Located in a quiet area of Nishi-Azabu, the restaurant had a calm and elegant atmosphere. The counter was spacious, allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable experience! The omakase course featured a consistently luxurious lineup. I was delighted to savor the alternating sequence of nigiri and a la carte dishes, each showcasing the freshest seasonal ingredients and their exquisite flavors. Every bite was a culinary masterpiece, leaving me in awe. The selection of rare sake was also impressive, adding to my overall satisfaction. The chef's occasional performances brought smiles to my face, making the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return!
【Roppongi】"Kuraroku Yuzan" If you're a sushi lover, you've probably heard of "Kuraroku Yuzan." It's been renovated since July, with fewer seats but the same location. The 40,000 yen omakase course includes about 24 dishes, from nigiri to appetizers. The timing of the nigiri and other dishes, as well as the coordination between the chef and his apprentices, is truly impressive.

Located in Roppongi, this renowned sushi restaurant, a member of the 'Hyaku-Mei-Ten' (100 Famous Shops) list, is a popular destination for celebrities and food enthusiasts alike, drawn by its prime location and the charismatic personality of the head chef. The chef's commanding presence and his powerful, impressive sushi creations combine to captivate every guest. While the visual impact is undeniable, the quality of the sushi is equally impressive. This establishment also boasts an impressive selection of rare and sought-after sake, including 'Juyondai' and 'Shoryu,' a testament to its Roppongi location. The restaurant offers a generous omakase (chef's choice) sushi course, and even the takeaway (which might surprise some guests) is equally grand!
