I had a katsu curry at a curry shop! It was piping hot and delicious. The spice was just right.

I had lunch during a break before my departure. All the menu items were said to be ready in 5 minutes, but I ordered the tempura udon with kakiage (deep-fried vegetable tempura). It truly came out in 5 minutes. I am grateful.

Cafe space after immigration at Narita Airport ☕️ The shop is bright with the morning sun. It's perfect for working while having breakfast ☺️ • Soy meat keema curry • Iced coffee Soy meat has become quite delicious ☺️ It's refreshing, but it's not inferior to animal meat! The tomato-based curry is light and flavorful. It's a bit hard to find, tucked away in the back of the post-immigration area, but you can relax until the very last minute before your flight ☺️ Thank you for the meal!

The food options include udon noodles, curry, hot dogs, and gyoza. For drinks, you can enjoy coffee, beer, and whiskey. The view from the window is excellent.

**(Updated June 27, 2022)** 5:00 PM. Packed. This isn't really a "visited" log, but more of a "went but couldn't get in because it was too crowded" log. It was around 5:00 PM on a weekday. Right now, this place and Tully's are the only restaurants open within the security area of Terminal 2. Naturally, people flock here. I wish more places were open. Incidentally, Tully's wasn't that crowded. There were about 10 people in line. But I didn't go in. If you have access to the Sakura Lounge, you should go there. Oh well. I wanted to have a black beer from Ebisu (laughs). ————— **(Updated June 1, 2016)** It's a great place to relax and wait for your flight alone. I use it frequently (almost every time?) for overseas business trips. What I like about this place is: * It's not too crowded (at least in the mornings, as far as I know) * It's easy to go in alone * The counter faces the airport, so you can watch the planes while you wait (it keeps you from getting bored) You can enjoy a delicious beer on the other side of customs and relax while you wait for your flight. All that's left is to board the plane. The beer is served in a chilled glass (it's frozen) straight from the tap. The edamame is probably frozen, but that's not the point (laughs).
