Kiyosumi Shirakawa Tart Cafe I visited on a weekday afternoon around 3 pm. There were two other groups of customers, and some people were taking out. The cafe is cute and the staff are friendly, making it a comfortable place to be. I ordered an acai bowl and a kiwi tart. Both dishes featured fresh fruit and were visually appealing. The tart had a simple, rustic crust and the cream was not overly sweet, making it a perfect balance of flavors. The iced tea had a fruity flavor and a refreshing taste, pairing perfectly with the tart. The delicious fruit made me curious about the vegan parfait that started in October... This is a lovely cafe, and I'm looking forward to trying the ice cream shop next door next time!
The best fruit tarts in Tokyo! I recently visited POSH, my favorite place, for their limited-time summer rouge tart made with an abundance of strawberries from Nagano Prefecture. The strawberries were small but had a perfect balance of tartness and aroma, and they paired beautifully with the original nut cream and coconut-scented tart. Even though it was vegan, it was richer and had a more complex texture than a regular strawberry tart. I was so happy to be able to enjoy such a delicious strawberry dessert in the fall. POSH introduced me to the deliciousness of "raw sweets." The tart is made without baking using plant-based ingredients, so the nutrients of the fruits and nuts are preserved. It's also sugar-free and additive-free, so I can enjoy it guilt-free. I easily ate two and was completely satisfied!
I visited this place after seeing that they offer healthy, raw desserts. The tart crust is made with nuts and doesn't use white sugar, milk, wheat, or eggs, so it has a natural sweetness that really brought out the sweetness of the mango! The tart crust itself is sweet, which made the mango taste even better. I ordered the "Third Eye Latte" for my drink. It was very spicy, and my throat felt hot with every sip (⚠ I don't like cinnamon or other spices). I ordered it because it was a drink name I'd never heard before, but I think I was too adventurous. It wasn't for me... The atmosphere of the shop was lovely, with lots of natural light! Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5
I stumbled upon this place while heading to a venue along the Sumida River. I was torn between a tart and a parfait, and what kind of fruit to choose. In the end, I went for the luxurious Shine Muscat parfait. It seems that the almond milk, pear gelato, orange liqueur, and chocolate are all vegan. The Shine Muscat was piled high and was delicious without being too sweet. However, having to order a drink as a set made it quite a luxurious experience.
I went to the gelato shop next door, but it was closed, so I came here instead ☺️ I didn't know there was such a cute cafe here. I'll have to try their beautiful tarts and parfaits next time! I ordered a milk tea, and it was refreshing and delicious with a strong tea flavor.
