I lived nearby, so I visited late at night. Even on weekdays, there were many customers! Delicious sake, kind and friendly people, and warm food 😌 It was a wonderful time ☺️

=== Posted June 2024 === After a long time, I finally visited the bar on the second floor. It's open late and has a great selection of craft gins. I had the Fukagawa Tsuburo Lemon with soda, a craft gin made locally at Fukagawa Distillery. The gin's floral aroma and the citrusy scent of lemon were beautifully elevated by the soda, creating a refreshing taste. It's perfect for a palate cleanser! The atmosphere was great, and I had a good time chatting with the bartender and other customers. This friendly atmosphere is what makes Fukagawa so special. I had a really enjoyable time! === Posted March 2021 === For lunch, I ordered the Tanba Mountain venison curry. The venison, served like a dry curry, was tender and easy to eat, with no gamey flavor at all. The spices were subtle, allowing the meat's flavor to shine through. Even if you're not a fan of game, you'll love this delicious curry! ¥1200 This popular spot is known for its selection of craft gins, so I also ordered a TATSUMI DISTILLERY craft gin to go with my venison curry. I'm not a gin expert, but the aroma was so pleasant and refreshing. And since both the curry and the gin use spices, they complemented each other perfectly! The aroma was so delightful, and I discovered a whole new world of flavors!

A cozy bar where you can relax. It might be a bit intimidating to enter if there are regulars, as it's small, but the owner is friendly and makes everyone feel welcome. Gin and spices seem to be the owner's specialty? They have a lot of gins I've never seen before, which is interesting. The curry is also excellent. I'm not sure how long they'll be offering it, but they also have takeout.

After having lunch with friends and enjoying some drinks, we were still thirsty and decided to head to this second spot. We were wandering around and were drawn in by the aroma of curry. The manager was very friendly and recommended different gins. We were already full so we only ordered a few snacks, but we definitely plan to visit again when we're in the area. Thanks for the meal!
