Two TVs playing different games, a haven for baseball fans. The menu isn't extensive, and portions are on the smaller side, making it ideal for two people, solo diners, or a second stop. The mini spring cabbage pot is delicious.
It's a cozy little place with a counter and a few tables. Sports bars and themed izakayas often have mediocre food, but this place has genuinely good food. The walls are decorated with baseball, pro wrestling, and sumo memorabilia and autographs. If you're into those things, you'll have a great time chatting with the owner about your shared interests. It's also conveniently located near the station.
This place is close to Tsukiji Station and affordable. I'm a Hanshin Tigers fan, and they gave me an Osaka extra edition newspaper.
The staff was very kind! For groups of around 13 people, you can sit at a table, which is the best option. For larger groups, you'll be seated at the counter.
Although it's a sports bar, the food was delicious!
