Located a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station, on the iconic Keyakizaka slope in Roppongi, lies the French chocolaterie "LE CHOCOLAT ALAIN DUCASSE Roppongi (Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse)", originating from Paris. "Alain Ducasse" is a renowned French chocolate specialty store established by the celebrated French chef, Alain Ducasse. They meticulously select cacao beans from around the world, overseeing every step of the process, from roasting to chocolate making, in their workshops in Paris and Tokyo. The dessert salon "Le Salon" on the second floor offers a breathtaking view of Keyakizaka while showcasing the artistry of their pastry chefs who meticulously craft chocolates using couverture chocolate made from carefully selected cacao beans. 💕 Starting in August, they introduced the "Eclair", an exquisite eclair with a striking geometric design. ✨ This "Eclair" was previously only available during special events and has been a highly sought-after dessert, selling out daily. The eclair, adorned with the brand's signature geometric chocolate, comes in three flavors: Caramel Salé, Framboise, and Praline. I opted for the Caramel and Framboise. The Caramel eclair features a baked choux pastry filled generously with mascarpone cream and a touch of Guérande salt caramel. It's topped with a marbled chocolate bar (chocolate au lait and dark chocolate) for a delightful crunchy texture. The bittersweet chocolate and salty caramel create a perfect harmony. 💖 The Framboise eclair is filled with 100% Peruvian cacao chocolate and raspberry cream, accented with tangy raspberry confit. The top is adorned with a dark chocolate bar with a pronounced cacao flavor and a dusting of raspberry powder. ✨ The cream is freshly piped upon ordering. "Le Salon" offers both dine-in and takeaway options, including a three-piece set that has become a popular choice for home parties. 💖 When dining in, you'll be delighted to receive a complimentary scoop of rich, 75% Madagascar cacao chocolate ice cream. 💕 ⭐︎Eclair⭐︎ ¥1,540 (tax included) each • Chocolat Caramel Salé • Chocolat Framboise • Chocolat Praline ⭐︎Takeout⭐︎ Three-piece set ¥3,240 (tax included)

Kabosu Baba Chocolat Dessert, ¥1,980 This dessert is available for dine-in at Le Salon on the second floor of Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse in Roppongi. Both the Tokyo workshop and Roppongi location offer the "Kabosu Baba Chocolat." The unique savarin dough, infused with cacao nibs, is baked in the shape of a cacao pod. It's soaked in a rum syrup flavored with cacao nibs, orange and lemon zest, and topped with a fluffy cream. Beneath the cream lies a smooth chocolate cream (75% Peruvian cacao) with a hint of rum, and a crunchy chocolate (75% Madagascan cacao) with hazelnuts and cacao nibs, making for a generous portion. The staff will cut the dessert for you, and finish it with a generous drizzle of a smooth, cacao-infused chocolate sauce. This luxurious dessert allows you to fully savor the allure of cacao and experience the charm of Alain Ducasse through the savarin.

I visited on a weekday afternoon. I was asked about reservations, but I was able to enter without one. The shop is on the first floor and the cafe is on the second floor. The view of the Keyaki-zaka (Zelkova Avenue) was beautiful and the atmosphere was calming. The staff explained the desserts with photos, so I could choose with confidence. The chocolate was very delicious, with a rich flavor despite its bitterness. I was very satisfied with the space, the taste, and the service. They also have soft serve ice cream for takeout, so I want to order that next time.

Eclairs overflowing with chocolate, made with cacao beans sourced from countries like Peru and Madagascar. The atmosphere on the second floor is so peaceful, I definitely want to visit again.

A chocolate specialty store originating from Paris, France. I visited because I heard that a new flavor of soft serve ice cream, a popular summer item, had been released. ▪︎Chocolate Mango Passion ¥1,080 The refreshing sourness of passion fruit and mango combined with a refreshing, rich chocolate flavor. An unexpected combination, but surprisingly delicious. ▪︎Soft Serve Chocolate ¥864 Made with a 75% cacao original blend. Rich chocolate flavor made from carefully selected cacao beans. It's lighter than it looks and perfect for summer. Both are takeout-only menu items. *We were allowed to use the second floor for PR photography. The salon on the second floor offers pastries by the pastry chef and chocolate drinks, making it a great place to stop by for shopping or a date. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ■ Store Name Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse Roppongi ■ Business Hours 11:00-17:30 ■ Closed Days Irregular ■ Access 6 minutes walk from Roppongi Station ■ Other Credit card and QR code payment available / Takeout / No power outlets or Wi-Fi ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
