Feeling overwhelmed by my recent workload, I craved a sweet treat to soothe my soul. (╯︵╰,) I decided to visit Rose Bakery, an organic cafe located on the 7th floor of the Ginza Komatsu West Building! ( *´∇`)ノ It's a stylish cafe in a trendy building. There were many foreign tourists, which wasn't the case two years ago. It's become a truly international cafe! So chic! I ordered a carrot cake, a cafe au lait, and, for some reason, an egg benedict. The carrot cake was perfectly sweet and paired beautifully with the cafe au lait! (╰(*´︶`*)╯♡) The egg benedict was also delicious, with a perfectly runny yolk. It was truly restorative. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On Sunday, after an event, we were both starving and decided to grab a quick bite with a friend. We shared an avocado open-faced sandwich and steamed vegetables, and each ordered the soup of the day (S size). The steamed vegetables took about 15 minutes to prepare, so we were served the soup and sandwich first. The vegetables arrived just as we finished our food, which was perfect timing. The soup of the day was a carrot and ginger potage. The steamed vegetables included cabbage, eggplant, lotus root, and red heart radish, all roasted in oil. The miso-based sauce had a subtle tang that was delicious. Next time, I want to try their carrot cake or scones for a snack.

————MENU———— ◦ Carrot Cake ¥715 ◦ Americano ¥605 ✱Notes✎✱ ・Wide variety of sweets ・Lunch menu available ・Perfect for dates, friends, or solo visits ✱Review✱ I've been wanting to try Rose Bakery's carrot cake for a while now. The Marunouchi branch is apparently very popular and sells out quickly, but this location is a hidden gem! Even on a Saturday at 1 p.m., there was no line and plenty of carrot cake available. The cafe itself is simple and stylish. It's quite spacious and the tables are well-spaced, so it's not noisy and you can relax. The carrot cake frosting has a strong cream cheese flavor and is rich and satisfying. It's not overly sweet, which I really liked. The cake itself is moist and delicious, with plenty of walnuts and other ingredients. It was bigger than I expected and I was completely satisfied! Thank you for the delicious meal!

The service was terrible, but the sweets were delicious, so I'm giving it two stars. The sign in front of the store said to wait for guidance, so I waited patiently, but no one came. I tried to make eye contact with the staff who seemed idle, but they wouldn't look at me. Only half the seats were filled. The staff kept staring at the receipts, facing away from the dining area. A couple who arrived later were seated without waiting, and only then did the staff come over to guide them. When I told the staff I had been waiting, they just said, "Oh, here's a seat." I didn't feel like staying, so I took my order to go. I guess other people who left negative reviews had similar experiences. The sweets seemed to be made with high-quality ingredients and were delicious, so I'll try the Marunouchi branch next time.

It's located on the 7th floor of the building directly behind the Ginza Uniqlo. I ordered their famous carrot cake. It's a hearty cake with a subtly sweet base that includes nuts and is topped with cream cheese. It's a healthy and delicious cake. I enjoyed it with a cafe macchiato. The cafe has a casual feel, like a cafe corner in a fashion building, so it's not the kind of place where you can relax and unwind, but it's a good place to stop by for a quick bite.
