A beer costs 2,500 yen. I didn't check the reviews beforehand and was surprised when I got the bill. The beer itself is delicious, though.
Not at all affordable. The atmosphere is good, but the prices are way too high. And for the price, it wasn't that delicious. The pricing is displayed in a confusing way, so be careful. It's like drinking craft beer at a luxury hotel. I don't recommend it at all.
A place where you can find rare beers. The interior is unlike a typical beer bar. They have a wide selection of ales and IPAs. The madam is very kind and knowledgeable about beer, which is reassuring. The number of taps is small, but they seem to be carefully selected. It's great to be able to drink from noon onwards!
A glass of beer costs ¥2000. The price isn't displayed, so be careful about that. Nothing special, but they charge you like ¥2000 for a glass of beer. It's expensive here. Google recently deleted a bunch of bad reviews in English for this place, so here you go. The owner could be rude or could be funny. This old lady has a character. I don't really recommend this place unless you've made tons of money by crypto or scamming, hahaha. The owner, an old lady, seems to be a long-time overseas resident and a socialite, so she doesn't seem to know Japanese prices. You can talk to the old lady, but... her personality is so strong that nothing she says sinks in! You might think of this place as a place to go talk to the old lady rather than to drink. And it's cash only. They said you can only use a card if you spend over ¥5000. The selection includes Sierra Nevada and Punk IPA, which are now available at Seijo Ishii. The selection changes depending on the day. The beer itself was fresh. The customer turnover doesn't seem great, but it's amazing that they manage to keep the draft beer fresh. Maybe the old lady doesn't drink it all? Local hyperinflation. Maybe it's a symbol of the growing gap between rich and poor in Japan.
The owner has a strong personality and this place is not at all recommended for those who want to relax and enjoy a drink. A single shot of whiskey costs around 2,500 yen, and there's no price list, so if you're not careful, you could easily end up spending close to 10,000 yen. It's very expensive...
