【Time】 I arrived around 11:30. 【Taste】 ✔︎Weekday-only set menu: 【Soba Set】 ¥2,000 (tax included) ・Three-piece appetizer platter The contents weren't explained. It was like a red radish pickle? A cucumber appetizer? Pork jelly? All of them were delicious. ・Sanlar Tanmen (Spicy and Sour Noodle Soup) It arrived second. The fluffy soup, not too spicy and not too sour, was incredibly delicious. Of course, it didn't get cold at all. The noodles were typical Chinese noodles, nothing particularly noteworthy. ・Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings) & Pork Spring Rolls The spring rolls were flavorful and would go well with alcohol. The Xiao Long Bao were full of soup and slightly sweet. ・Dessert of the Day It was a tapioca dessert with grapefruit. For ¥2,000, it's amazing to be able to enjoy such wonderful service and food. The tea was also warmed in front of me, which I thought was a lovely service. 【Service】【Ambiance】 The service was excellent, as befitting a high-end establishment. The interior was also luxurious and nice.
2024/8/XX (Lunch) This was my first visit in 7 years and 3 months. After adjusting our time at Roppongi Hills, my wife and I visited at opening time. After a courteous reception, we were led to a table in the back of the first floor. The black vinegar pork that we had planned to order wasn't on the menu, so after some deliberation, we both ordered the following: ■ Meal Set @ ¥2,000 (tax included) ■ Rock Pork and Vegetable Stir-fry with Mala Sauce + ¥300 ※ Credit card payment ◆ Appetizer --- Three cold appetizers, including radish, cucumber, and steamed chicken. The portions were quite small, and while each dish was delicious, it felt a bit sparse. ◆ Soup --- A very thick, egg-based soup. It had a gentle flavor and was delicious. ◆ Xiao Long Bao & Pork Spring Rolls --- The Xiao Long Bao were quite large and filled with juicy broth, making them delicious. The spring rolls were also excellent, with a crispy crust and flavorful filling. The Xiao Long Bao and spring rolls were more memorable than the main course. ◆ Rock Pork and Vegetable Stir-fry with Mala Sauce --- The flavor was milder than I expected. The pork had a texture similar to chicken and was relatively bland. Of the main courses, my wife's "White Fish in Batter with Black Vinegar Sauce (+ ¥600)" was definitely more delicious. ◆ Dessert --- Tapioca milk, which was just the right sweetness and delicious. The main course was a bit of a miss, but overall, all the dishes were delicious. For this price, I think the value is excellent. The luxurious atmosphere and courteous, calm service are also wonderful, allowing for a leisurely meal. The service lunch, starting at ¥1,400, includes soup, two side dishes, and dessert, making it a great deal. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for the delicious meal.
This is a very elegant Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is also very nice. The staff are friendly and will happily tell you about the dishes. The food was also very delicious. I highly recommend the Peking duck, which they serve with crispy skin wrapped in a pancake. It was quite a generous portion. Another recommendation from the restaurant was the black vinegar sweet and sour pork, which was very different from the home-style version and absolutely delicious. We had two drinks each and used it as a dinner, which felt very good value for money.
I was invited to lunch at my client's company!(*´∇`*) They had made a reservation for us, but there were about 10 people waiting at the entrance without reservations! It's incredibly popular!∑(゚Д゚) I've been to the "Toreika" branch before, but this is my first time at this location! I'm excited!╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ We were quickly seated at a large table for three. The restaurant is spacious and has a calm atmosphere.(*´꒳`*) I ordered the shrimp mayonnaise set with dim sum! ↓From here, an incident occurred that has nothing to do with the food, so feel free to skip it if you're not interested! ------------------ We were enjoying our appetizers and having a pleasant conversation when... Zzz! Zzz! Zzz! Zzz! Whoa! Σ(゚д゚lll)A human Dyson? I looked around and saw a middle-aged man in his 50s and a company employee in his 30s at the table next to us talking loudly and eating aggressively! The other customers looked pale... This is bad! ・゚・(ノД\lll)・゚・コワイヨォォォォ・・・ The customer was a 60-year-old madam president who runs a school for etiquette and manners! Her companion was a 20-something secretary, "Chicklet," and me, who's utterly useless:(;゙゚'ω゚'): Chicklet and I exchanged worried glances. I tried to distract the madam with a few jokes, but they fell flat。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。 "We should have booked a private room," the madam said. The other customers seemed to notice that the company employee was out of place. He had a loud voice and was talking about things like, "My two daughters go to the private Yokohama〇〇 school, it's really tough for girls to get in," and "〇〇-chan from the snack bar last night was great! We stayed at the hotel until morning." He was mentioning names! Then, when his noodles arrived, he slurped them up with a loud Zzz! Zzz! Zzz! Zzz! while talking and chomping! He was a slurper plus soup-splatterer! The soup was flying everywhere!∑(;゚Д゚ノ)ノ I asked for more tea because I had already finished four cups, and he got angry, saying I wasn't being helpful... I've never seen anyone so rude。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。 He started talking about how "〇〇's husband, a classmate of my daughter, goes to the club with 〇〇 and stays at the hotel until morning," when the madam stood up and went to the company employee's table! "Excuse me, but your voice is very loud and I can hear your conversation. I have a friend who goes to 〇〇, so please refrain from talking about such things in this kind of setting. It's unpleasant. If you have something to say, come over here." She handed him her business card. Chicklet and I, The nearby customers froze ( ゚д゚)、、、、 The company employee froze and seemed to come to his senses. He quickly finished his food, sat quietly, and left in a hurry. The other customers looked relieved. He was instantly subdued. Amazing... "I'm so sorry, this happened during your important lunch," the madam apologized to us for some reason. "Not at all!" "Actually, I'm grateful."٩(๑>∀<๑)۶
This restaurant ranks among the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. It's located about a 5-10 minute walk from Roppongi Station. I had the dinner course this time, and each dish was satisfying and fulfilling, making it a highly enjoyable experience.
