Especially loved by locals, this establishment is known for its excellent service and high-quality cuisine. The customer service provided by the owner and staff is noteworthy, treating both first-time visitors and regular customers with equal care and attention. This warm atmosphere is likely one of the reasons for its many repeat customers. In terms of food, seafood dishes that pair well with the wide variety of Japanese sake are particularly popular. The rich flavors are favored by sake enthusiasts, and the signature dish, Toro-taku, is definitely worth trying. However, due to its popularity, it can be difficult to enter without a reservation. When planning a visit, it's strongly recommended to make a reservation in advance. Whether you're touring Asakusa or seeking an authentic standing bar experience, Asakusa no Sharemon is a must-visit spot. For those wanting to enjoy local flavors and atmosphere, be sure to give it a try. The price per person might be a bit high if you overeat, but if you just want to have a regular meal, you can enjoy it for around 4,000 yen!"}

This is my favorite standing bar. It's not very spacious, so it's lucky if you can just drop in, but you can also reserve a spot by phone. The menu is cheap and extensive, and everything is delicious. The sashimi is fresh. There's a wide variety of sake, and there are also some items not on the menu, so it's a good idea to ask the staff. The staff are friendly, easygoing, and easy to talk to. The clientele is mostly regulars, but it's not intimidating at all. I'll definitely be back.

A cozy, well-sized standing bar. There seems to be a small table in the back (I didn't look closely, so I'm guessing it's a table for four?). The counter has standing room for about 10 people, and there's one standing table for three. That's the layout. The lighting is dim, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The person who seemed to be the manager was friendly and welcoming with a warm smile. High likeability. The appetizers are around ¥500 and are just the right size for one person. It would be great to have a place like this near home or work.

The sake, sashimi, and appetizers were all delicious, and the atmosphere of this standing bar was fantastic. The burdock tempura was absolutely amazing, and I definitely want to go back.

The selection of drinks is extensive, with sake ranging from affordable to rare varieties. The food menu is also diverse, with all dishes priced reasonably. The flavors were perfect for enjoying with drinks. We arrived shortly after opening, but the place quickly filled up with customers. It's probably best to make a reservation. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. For groups of three or more, a table in the back is available.
