My go-to spot, HUB Kitasenju. I've probably been there dozens of times. The beer is delicious and affordable for its quality (great value), and the service is good. Sports are not their strong suit, but the atmosphere is fun. I recommend the chicken and chips and fish and chips.

A pretty spacious store! It's a pre-payment system. They have a wide selection of alcohol, so it's enjoyable.

We visited for lunch on a weekend (around 1:00 PM) and there was no wait. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice. You order at the counter and receive a number that you place on your table. The food is then brought to you. There are regular tables and smaller tables, so it's best to choose a table based on your needs. If you choose a small table, you might not have enough space for everything. There was a staff member who seemed to be in training, but they were trying their best. I hope they will become more comfortable with the job over time. The menu is surprisingly affordable, making it easy to enjoy. You can have a good time even if you don't drink alcohol.

BRITISH PUB is tucked away in the basement of the building that houses Book Off in Kinshicho. They only have hearty dishes like fish and chips, pasta, pizza, and karaage, but it's a good place to go for a casual drink. Happy hour prices are good, but the regular prices are a bit high.

The roast beef was delicious. **Update:** Every year for New Year's, I stay at the Lotte Hotel and make my way between the pub on the B1 floor and the one on the 4th floor. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and provide excellent service, and I always have a great time. I'll be back next year!
