I was looking for a place within walking distance of my hotel and found this spot. It's right in front of Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi. Inside, there's a Toyama antenna shop, restaurants, bars, and more, making it a very spacious place. The bar corner offers Toyama sake and snacks for eat-in. This time, I ordered a sake tasting set of three varieties and two snacks. The Narimas was particularly to my liking and very delicious. For snacks, I recommend the kamaboko (fish cake).
This bar is located within the Toyama Prefecture antenna shop. You can order not only alcohol, but also amazake (sweet sake) and desserts. The interior is elegant and beautiful. I ordered a Job's tears gelato and amazake. If you order a dessert and a drink, the drink is discounted. The Job's tears gelato was very rich and delicious. The amazake was also very delicious, made with koji (rice malt).
A great place to sample a variety of To Yama sake at an affordable price. This bar lounge is located in the "Nihonbashi Toyamakan", To Yama's antenna shop. The atmosphere is lovely and the To Yama sake is delicious. 🍶 What I had: ◆ To Yama sake tasting set (3 types x 30ml) 700 yen (tax included) To Yama water is included! ◆ Recommended appetizer platter of 3 items 500 yen ※ I got the firefly squid appetizer for free by registering as a LINE friend. They seem to distribute coupons regularly. You choose your sake from the shelves, hand the selection card to the counter, and pay there. It's so much fun to choose the sake! I chose: ・Masuda Shuzo, Manshuisen, Junmai Daiginjo Special ・Masuda Shuzo, Manshuisen, Junmai Ginjo ・Koukoku Sei Shuzo, Maboroshi no Taki, Junmai Ginjo Namazake I loved them all! And since you can buy your favorites at the shop, it's great to be able to try them at the antenna shop. There are 17 types of sake to choose from, plus limited-time offerings, so it's always fun to visit. And refills of sake are only 200 yen! So cheap! The appetizers are also all To Yama specialties, so you can enjoy the full To Yama experience. Thank you for the meal.
We visited as a couple. One of us ordered soft drinks, while the other ordered a set of three different types of sake. We didn't share the sake. When we tried to order more sake, we were told that we had to order another set of three different types of sake if we wanted a refill. Apparently, we couldn't get a refill unless we ordered two sets of sake. This made no sense. We won't be going back.
The antenna shop offers a selection of local sake sets. You can choose from a variety of labels, which is great. The snacks are also quite elaborate, like a trio of firefly squid.
