Both the sweet breads and the savory breads had delicious dough! * **Shiso and Shirasu Focaccia:** The combination of the Japanese flavors of shirasu (tiny whitebait) and shiso (perilla) with the creamy cheese was fantastic. Reheating it makes the outside crispy and the inside fluffy, so I recommend it. * **Cinnamon Roll:** The cinnamon flavor is rich and delicious. The dough is also chewy and good. * **Walnut Bread:** I'm happy with the generous amount of walnuts. It's thick and has a satisfying texture. * **Chocolate Bread:** Contrary to its appearance, it has quite a bit of chocolate inside. Enjoy! * **Happy Curry Bread:** The outside is crunchy, the inside is chewy, and the curry flavor is rich and delicious. It's a great curry bread. It's located near the Akasaka-do, just a short walk from Kiyosumi Shirakawa Station.
The milk French bread might be my favorite ever. It's loaded with cream and has a satisfyingly crunchy texture. It's quite sweet. I'll try the curry bread next time. Two breads cost around 600 yen. They accept PayPay.
Perhaps I had too high of expectations due to the hype surrounding this special store selling bread curated by Panculator. The prices were also high-end. However, the appearance and taste of the bread were far from luxurious. I wish they would put more effort into researching the kneading, fermentation, and baking of their bread.
The staff were not unpleasant, and the bread was delicious. However, the door is often left open, and the bread on display is not covered in plastic, so my husband saw some insects on it. It's insect season now, so I hope they will pay more attention to hygiene.
The bread here is all unique and incredibly delicious 😋. It's also great that they give you complimentary bread when you come in for the first time! ✨
