—Overall Impression——— We stopped by during a stroll through Asakusa. My wife wanted to try the sweet potato, and it was moist and smooth, perfect for a sugar rush during our walk. Even though it was a holiday weekend, we didn't have to wait in line too long. —Food——— Sweet potato —Service—— Takeout only. —Access——— Located at the intersection of Denpo-in Street and Nakamise Street. —Parking——— None —Payment Methods——— Paid in cash.

I was given some "Oimo-ya San Koushin" sweet potato from a customer. This was a shocking experience for me, having lived for half a century! My image of sweet potato was always pointy, with sticky syrup that stuck to my teeth, and a hard, crunchy exterior. My eyes popped out! This one was different. It had no sharp edges, the syrup was smooth and runny, it wasn't hard, and the inside was soft and warm. 🥹 Was it syrup? Honey? Sauce? I couldn't bear to waste any, so I dipped each bite in it. I'm definitely going to buy some myself next time! Of course, I'll be prepared to wait in line, as it's a popular shop. It was delicious!🎶 #Oimo-ya San Koushin #SweetPotato #Asakusa #SensojiTemple #SyrupSoSmooth #Delicious #WarmAndCozy #Happiness #Line #RepeatCustomer #SweetPotato

I visited Sensō-ji Temple in Asakusa and bought some sweet potato tempura on my way back. I got the tasting set for 1800 yen, which included Aikomachi and Miyabi. They were generously coated in honey. I preferred Aikomachi because it had a firmer texture. It wasn't the crispy type of sweet potato tempura, but it was delicious.

I purchased a set of sweet potato and candied sweet potato and enjoyed them at home. Although there was a day or two between eating them, they were perfectly fine. The price is a bit high at 2000 yen, but I think it's worth it. The candied sweet potato is especially delicious, with large pieces of sweet potato and a generous amount of syrup. I will definitely buy it again when I visit Tokyo.

The sweet potato here is insane. Of course, the potato itself is delicious, but the sauce is ridiculously good! I'll definitely be back for more.
