If your favorite artist is performing live, you should definitely go. If it's your first time, you can get a feel for the atmosphere by sitting in the casual seats on the 5th floor. However, you'll enjoy it even more if you're closer to the stage. It has a private live concert vibe. The most convenient way to get there might be by using the Oedo Line and getting off at Roppongi Station, but you could also take the Toei Bus from Shibuya Station to Shinbashi Station and get off at the Roppongi Station stop.
The closest entrance is Exit 8 of the Oedo Line subway! You'll arrive at the venue right after going up to the 4th floor! All seats are assigned, and the 3rd floor is the closest to the stage, almost like an arena. The couple seats and casual seats surround the stage, and the seating goes up to the 4th and 5th floors (although the seating chart might make it seem like there's a lot of distance). The venue is very easy to see from because you can move between floors using the stairs inside. You can order food and drinks from your seat and have them brought to you, except for the casual seats. For the casual seats, you have to order at the bar counter and pick up your order yourself. The stage has a glass back, so you can enjoy the live music with a unique view of the city lights. The location and atmosphere lend themselves to a sophisticated dining experience, making it a wonderful space to enjoy music and food. There's free Wi-Fi and the restrooms are clean. It's very stylish. The food menu is extensive. It's a live house where you can experience a unique, out-of-the-ordinary experience that you should visit at least once. The photo was taken from 4C. You can see and enjoy the show well from there too (for reference).
The atmosphere was fantastic! While a drink was included, I ordered additional drinks and food, but the prices were pretty high, weren't they? Is that a location fee? The small plate of mixed nuts was 900 yen! But the artists were close and the sound was good.
My First Billboard Experience Being able to enjoy live music while having drinks and food was amazing. Even though I was in a casual seat, I had a great view of the stage and was very satisfied. Next time, I'll definitely try the DX seats!
The Billboard is located on the 4th floor of Midtown with a reception area. The venue itself is small, so you shouldn't have to wait long to get in. Depending on the artist, I think it's fine as long as you're not too casual. I saw some people wearing jeans, sneakers, and tour T-shirts. You can pick up your tickets right before the entrance, and there's merchandise and a gachapon machine as soon as you enter. The hall is right ahead, but the drink exchange line can be surprisingly long, so you can exchange your drink voucher after finding your seat. I ordered an original cocktail, a soft drink, and some fresh chocolate, and enjoyed the elegant and luxurious atmosphere while listening to the guitar. The venue is small, so you're very close to the artist! Because the venue is small, the restrooms weren't crowded. There's no smoking area inside Billboard. However, there's a clean smoking area with seating in Midtown where you can relax and smoke before or after the show π
