Indulge in a thick, juicy Hawaiian burger - Teddy's Bigger Burgers in Omotesando. Located a 3-minute walk from Meiji Jingumae Station, Teddy's Bigger Burgers, a Hawaiian gourmet burger joint that has won the Hawaii Best Burger Award for 23 consecutive years, offers a taste of the islands. I visited the Omotesando branch, which is easily accessible from Meiji Jingumae Station. The restaurant is located on the second floor and boasts a Hawaiian atmosphere with ceiling fans and tropical plants. I ordered the Monster Double Burger, a luxurious burger featuring two of Teddy's popular patties. Made with 100% beef without any fillers, the patties allow you to savor the true flavor of the meat. The juicy meat, melted cheese, and crisp, fresh lettuce and tomatoes all blend together in a single bite, creating a satisfying burger experience. The buns are also infused with the flavor of the original sauce, making it a menu item I highly recommend. The burgers are available as sets, with options beyond the standard potato set, including sets with pudding or salad. I opted for the pudding set, intrigued by the unusual offering. The pudding was cold, generously topped with caramel sauce, and had a slightly honey-like flavor, making it rich and satisfying. As the weather warms up, it might be a perfect accompaniment to the burger. Beyond burgers, Teddy's offers a tempting selection of Hawaiian soul food, including their signature loco moco, mochi chicken, Hawaiian pancakes, and acai bowls. In Japan, Teddy's has 10 locations, including the Omotesando branch I visited, as well as locations in Yokohama Kokubu, Yokohama World Porters, Kamakura Shichirigahama, Okinawa, Chiba, and Shiga. They also operate food trucks. The pudding set is exclusive to the Omotesando branch. If you're craving an authentic burger experience, Teddy's is a must-visit!
I finally visited the Omotesando location after craving the burger I had in Hawaii! I tried the popular avocado cheese burger. It wasn't as big as the one in Hawaii, but it was still juicy and delicious. The fries stayed crispy until the very end, so I highly recommend them too!
I tried the limited-time spicy cheese burger with 10x the spice, plus fries and a drink. It was spicy and delicious. This time I went looking for something spicy, but I think the base burger would be delicious too. I'd definitely come back here again when I want a slightly luxurious and tasty burger.
I visited on a Saturday afternoon, a little after 1 p.m. It was during the Obon holiday period, so there were plenty of seats available. - You choose your own seat, decide on your order, and then go to the counter to place your order. You're given a buzzer and are called when your food is ready. - The seating is limited to 2 hours. - Burger sets come with a choice of fries, pudding, or salad. - I ordered the Premium Avocado Cheese Burger set with a medium-sized drink, which came to a total of 2,167 yen. The meat was thick and delicious, even just one patty was enough to satisfy me! The menu photo showed the burger with yellow dripping, which looked like melted cheese, but in reality, it was a generous amount of mustard. If you're a cheese lover, you might want to add some extra cheese. The mustard wasn't very spicy. Since it's self-service, it's a casual and easy place to eat, but considering the price, I thought the service was a bit expensive, so I gave it 4 stars.
