Taste: ★★★★★ Ambiance: ★★★★★ Service: ★★★★ Value: ★★★★ I recently visited Hoshi no Coffee in Kinshicho, which is located right in front of Kinshicho Station. It was my first time there. As soon as I stepped inside, I was struck by the calm atmosphere and classic interior design. It felt like a very relaxing space. The seating arrangement was spacious, and the distance between customers was well-maintained, making it a great place to enjoy some quiet time. I think it's perfect for chatting with friends, reading alone, or taking a break from work. The menu was diverse, and this time I ordered the special souffle pancakes and coffee. The pancakes were fluffy and light, with a sweetness that melted in my mouth. It was a very satisfying taste. The cream and syrup toppings were perfectly balanced, making it easy to adjust the sweetness. The coffee had a rich depth and a pleasant bitterness that lingered. The service was also excellent, with the staff being kind and attentive. I felt very comfortable. The lighting and music in the cafe were also very pleasant, creating a relaxing atmosphere that made me want to stay longer. The location is convenient, right in front of the station, making it easy to stop by while shopping or going out. This is definitely a plus. I will definitely visit again and recommend it to my friends. Hoshi no Coffee Kinshicho Station is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing time. I think it's a wonderful cafe with everything you could want: attentive service, delicious coffee and food, and a calm atmosphere. 𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐 Google Local Guide Level 9 Number of photos posted: 15,320 Current points: 89,532 Views: 47,014,945 (As of October 10, 2024) 𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐𓐐
◾️June, Saturday, around 2:00 PM visit There were 6 groups waiting. We wrote our name on the signboard next to the elevator and waited. The space was quite narrow, and we had to wait in the aisle where the staff walked back and forth. When there were more than 5 people, it became very crowded, and some people stood right in front of the elevator, making it difficult to enter and exit. We were seated after about 20 minutes. The turnover rate seemed to be fast. Several groups left all at once when we were leaving. • Double soufflé pancakes • Orihime coffee • Sparkling lemonade The pancakes arrived in about 20 minutes, as expected. They were delicious as always! The edges were not trimmed, which made them look a bit untidy, but I actually like that part, so I was happy about it. The sparkling lemonade came in a thin glass filled with large ice cubes. Also, the mint shown in the menu photo was not included. Was it forgotten? When I took a sip, it was very diluted at the top... The concentrate was at the bottom, but the ice made it impossible to stir. I had to move the ice and fruit to the coffee saucer to stir it somehow. After removing the ice, there was only about half of the drink left... The amount of ice was incredible. The taste was strong and good after stirring. I was happy with the abundance of fruit. The sourness was refreshing and delicious! I just wish they would do something about the ice being so packed. Also, there was coffee grounds on the water glass. When I asked for a replacement, the person at the next table also asked for a replacement, apparently noticing it because of my request. It's unclear if it was due to insufficient cleaning or if it happened later... There were several minor issues, but the food was delicious, so I'm giving it 3 stars.
It's on the second floor of the building right next to Kinshicho Station. The sign is prominent, so it's easy to find! I went there on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm, looking for something sweet. When I got off the elevator, there were a few people waiting. I wrote my name down and waited about 10 minutes. When I was seated, the place was practically empty. The seats next to me and the ones next to those were all vacant. The waiting area by the entrance is narrow, so it would be a bit of a hassle when paying or using the elevator. I wish they could seat people sooner. The menu looked delicious! I had pancakes and pudding. The thick, fluffy pancakes and the slightly firm pudding were both delicious. The atmosphere of the shop was also very stylish and lovely.
To enter the cafe, you need to use the elevator located behind VIE DE FRANCE. Based on reviews suggesting using the stairs when the elevator is crowded, I decided to take the stairs. However, the door was labeled "Staff Only - Emergency Exit." Taking a chance, I opened the door and found myself next to the kitchen. A girl was brewing coffee and greeted me with a "Hello!" Those with weak hearts should definitely use the elevator. Like other branches, the cafe has dim lighting, creating a comfortable atmosphere. It's nice that there aren't many pretentious young people tapping away on their laptops. Of course, there's no Wi-Fi or power outlets. While the building is likely showing its age, the lack of proper toilet cleaning was a bit disappointing.
Located just a 2-minute walk from Kinshicho Station East Exit, inside a building. The space had a retro-modern feel, very stylish. The leather chairs were comfortable. I had the pancake and salad (with coffee) morning set for 580 yen, which felt like a good deal. The pancakes weren't quite as browned as I'd like, but they tasted good. The size seemed a bit smaller than before, though 😢.
