I've been living abroad and haven't been back in a long time, but I recently visited the shop for the first time in about 20 years during a trip back to Japan. I was so touched that the manager remembered me. He's truly a model bartender. The shop still has the same calm atmosphere, perfect for a solo visit or a leisurely chat with friends. The food was delicious as always. I hope to return to Japan more often and visit the shop from now on.
I was taken to this place by a junior who has been coming here for over 20 years. Everything is delicious, but the tuna marinated in soy sauce, spinach salad, and pork bowl are particularly outstanding. It's a place that doesn't welcome first-time visitors unless they are introduced by someone. The chef is friendly, and the prices are reasonable, but it's still a place with a high threshold.
It's a bit tricky to find, as you need an introduction to get in, but it's absolutely worth it. The dimly lit interior creates a sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for enjoying good sake and delicious snacks. I'll definitely be going back.
