Besides melon bread, they also sold strawberry mochi, strawberry candy apples, soft serve ice cream, and drinks. It was a very hot day, so I bought soft serve ice cream, a strawberry candy apple, and lemonade. This was my first time trying a strawberry candy apple, so I thought, "So this is what it's like." But the soft serve ice cream and lemonade were delicious. The two gentlemen working there were also very kind and made a good impression. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around lunchtime and there was no line. The cookie dough was not thin but rather crispy, and the bread dough was fluffy. While the buttery flavor wasn't very strong, it had just the right amount of sweetness and was delicious. I think it's the best melon pan shop in the Asakusa area. The customer service was also friendly with a smile.

This shop is located on a street one block in from the main street. I discovered it while on my way to my original destination 👀👀. I was drawn in by the crowd of people eating melon pan on the street, so I decided to give it a try. The melon pan had a thin, crispy crust rather than a fluffy one, with whipped cream inside. It was a pretty ordinary melon pan, the kind you'd think is delicious because you're eating it there. The whipped cream melon pan itself was pre-made and handed to me after I paid. Many shops in this area only accept cash, but this one accepts electronic payments like PayPay, so that's a plus ⭐.

I gave it a three-star rating. "Alteria Bakery" is famous for its melon pan with ice cream, but the filling actually changes with the seasons. I love the ice cream version, but this ice cream (if my memory serves me right) is only available in the summer, and it's cream during other seasons. I also really love the ice cream version and always get it when I visit Asakusa, but what about the cream version? It's a matter of preference, but I didn't think it went well with the bread. In my case, I pair the cream version with coffee milk.

First Visit Visited for the first time in May 2024. The place I was aiming for was closed, so I ordered a melon pan for 250 yen.
