I visited on a weekday evening and was relieved to see a sign that said they still had strawberry bean mochi! I was looking forward to trying the strawberry bean mochi, so I was relieved. ◆Strawberry Bean Mochi ¥324 This is said to be the original strawberry bean mochi, so I was excited to try it before I even took a bite. The strawberries weren't that big due to the season, but the chewy mochi contained large beans, and the balance of saltiness and sweetness was just right. I heard that their mitarashi dango is also popular, so I'd like to try that next time. The location is easy to find and the staff were friendly.

While their strawberry mochi is famous, they offer a wide variety of Japanese sweets. The staff was friendly and recommended many delicious options. The shop is quite small, only fitting about five people at a time. I waited in line with three others before placing my order. I tried the following: * Zunda Kin-Tsuba (sweet bean paste with mugwort) * Coffee Zenzai (sweet red bean soup with coffee jelly) * Mitarashi Dango (glutinous rice dumplings with sweet soy sauce) * Sakura Kuzumochi (kuzumochi with cherry blossom flavor) * Ume Shizuku (plum jelly) * Ichigo Daifuku (strawberry mochi) Everything was truly delicious! My favorite was the coffee zenzai. The firm beans went well with the coffee jelly. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited this long-established Japanese confectionery shop in Ginza, known as the originator of the strawberry mochi, for takeout on a weekend afternoon. I went in looking for their signature strawberry bean mochi, but right above the register, I saw a higher-grade "Special Selection Strawberry Bean Mochi"! It was a bit pricey at 450 yen, but since I was there, I decided to buy it. They put it in a box that exuded a sense of luxury. ^^ When I split the soft, chewy mochi in half, I found a large strawberry and a generous amount of bean paste inside. ★ The sweetness of the bean paste and the tartness of the strawberry were perfectly balanced, and I wanted to eat two or three more. The cheese bun I bought at the same time was also delicious. ^^

I recently stopped by the Okatsutamaya Ginza store, established in 1912, just a 5-minute walk from Yurakucho Station. **Business Hours:** All days: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM The third generation, who created the original strawberry daifuku, has produced this now-classic Japanese confectionery that is incredibly popular during this season. It's no exaggeration to say it's a staple! It's sold on the street level of Ginza Inz, under the elevated railway. Summer is approaching soon, and the strawberry season is coming to an end. I went to buy some at the last minute, and thankfully, a sign read "Today's Big Fortune!" There were plenty available! ✨ I bought one for my friend too. When we split it in half, the aroma of strawberries filled the air, and the juicy, fresh texture spoke volumes about its quality. Besides strawberry daifuku, there were many other varieties that made me want to buy them all, but I had to resist today. The thin skin encases a generous amount of sweet bean paste, made with Miyakogane, a special selection of rice from Miyagi Prefecture, elegant Hokkaido-grown azuki beans, and Chichibu mountain spring water from the Chichibu mountain range. A subtle hint of salt adds a nice touch, making it incredibly delicious and refreshing. I was completely satisfied with this gentle daifuku. ✨ I look forward to seeing you again! ✨Thank you for the delicious treat!✨ Thank you for always watching. I appreciate your likes, comments, and follows!❣️

After enjoying a bowl of udon for lunch, I strolled back to Yurakucho Station. My eyes were drawn to the words 'Strawberry Daifuku' at a shop I passed, and I couldn't resist going in. (๑・̑◡・̑๑) Actually, I had overheard a stylish couple talking about this place just outside, and their conversation piqued my interest. I followed them in, intrigued. (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))♡ The small shop was packed with a variety of Japanese sweets. The strawberry daifuku caught my eye. I heard that actress Masami Nagasawa even uses them for her drama filming. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) I had to buy some! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ I got a strawberry daifuku and a bean daifuku. ^ ^ I secretly enjoyed the bean daifuku at Starbucks, ^ ^ and savored the strawberry daifuku at home. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ The daifuku here have a wonderful skin texture and delicious filling. ♪ The strawberry daifuku 🍓 is truly the original! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ The balance of daifuku and strawberry is perfect, and the strawberry itself is a high-quality fruit. ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ It was delicious!
