Cafe STUDIO in Harajuku is a simple and stylish cafe known for its delicious pancakes and burgers. This time, I ordered the Classic Cheeseburger and Green Apple Soda. The buns are sourced from a long-established bakery in Tokyo, and the 160g patty is hand-made in-house. The burger is packed with flavor, featuring a brown onion sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese. The large, open bun reveals a thick, juicy patty, while the large slices of tomato and lettuce add a pop of color. The aroma of the onion sauce and cheese is truly enticing. The first bite reveals a flavorful patty with a coarse grind, juicy texture, and rich aroma. The freshness of the vegetables, the overall savory taste, and the texture of the bun all blend together perfectly. While classic in style, the quality of the ingredients shines through, making this a simple yet satisfying dish. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a gourmet burger and relax in the heart of the city.
I visited for lunch. It was quite crowded on the weekend. The visual impact was amazing. The taste was also delicious. However, one thing I found disappointing was that it was a bit lukewarm. With so many customers, it must be difficult to handle, but it didn't feel like it was freshly made. The patty and the cheese were also lukewarm. Even if the patty was heated with residual heat, it was a bit disappointing. It's unacceptable for the cheese to be lukewarm. The fish burger was large and satisfying. There are other burger places, so I might go to another burger place next time.
I tried the famous "Special Large Filet-O-Fish" for Β₯2000. The fish was thin and the batter was oily, making it a bit disappointing. The fries were also undercooked, which was a concern. The price didn't match the quality, which was a shame. I'm interested in trying the "Butter Cheese Melt" burger during the fall and winter. The atmosphere and the staff were great.
I visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was past 3 pm, but the restaurant was almost full! However, since there are a lot of seats (around 100?), I was able to get in after about 5 minutes. There are also about 20 seats on the terrace. I had lunch elsewhere, so I ordered French toast and coffee. Since it's a hamburger restaurant, their French toast uses hamburger buns! This is unusual - I enjoyed the sesame seeds on the bun too. It was delicious! It didn't seem like they had Wi-Fi. I want to come back for lunch and try their hamburgers next time!
I didn't experience any of the bad service mentioned in other reviews. The staff weren't particularly friendly or outgoing, but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I ordered the California burger π, which came with fries for around Β₯2,000. The juicy patty and caramelized onions were delicious. The set drinks were also reasonably priced at Β₯300 and came in a variety of options.
