The shop is located in the "Marunouchi Saka Area" of "Gransta Tokyo," which is in the basement of Tokyo Station. If you're looking for it based on your knowledge of Gransta, you might have to search a bit. This "Naruto Kintoki Honpo Kurio Shoten" is a "Tabelog Japanese Sweets and Dessert TOKYO 100 Best Shops 2023 Selection." This time, I purchased the following: ◎Kaku - Assorted Flavors (¥1,296 including tax) ※The bag costs ¥3, and the expiration date was 10 days from the date of purchase. This "Kaku" is a confection made by steaming Naruto Kintoki, soaking it in honey, and drying it. It comes in 8 flavors (Coffee, Wasanbon, Salt, Salt Kelp, Plum, Yuzu, Grilled, and Sesame). All of them were delicious and had a simple sweet potato flavor, but my favorites were the Grilled and Coffee. The Grilled is a simple way to enjoy the Naruto Kintoki. The Coffee is a perfect match of the natural sweetness of the Naruto Kintoki and the slightly bitter taste of coffee. The packaging design is beautiful, and the elegant natural sweetness of the Naruto Kintoki makes it perfect for souvenirs or gifts.

Located in the Gransta basement level 1, within the ticket gates of JR Tokyo Station, is a collection of takeout shops and souvenir stores. While compact, the shop exudes a sense of luxury with its Japanese-inspired design and eye-catching large display cases. They offer a variety of sweet potato treats and baked goods featuring Naruto Kintoki sweet potatoes from Tokushima Prefecture. I purchased a "Yaki Wasanbon" (baked confection with Wasanbon sugar). Made with Naruto Kintoki, it had a moist, fluffy texture that melted in my mouth. The natural sweetness of the Naruto Kintoki combined with the Wasanbon sugar created a subtle, refined flavor. The variety of options made it a great choice for souvenirs. Thank you for the delicious treat.

On August 5, 2024, I purchased some souvenirs for my family's visit at the "Naruto Kintoki Honpo Kurio Shoten Gransta Store" in the Saka area of Gransta Marunouchi. I bought: * "Kaku" (Assortment of flavors) x 2 boxes * "Ren" (Sweet potato paste candy) * "Yaki" (Baked sweet potato) - Wasanbon flavor * "Yaki" (Baked sweet potato) - Chocolate flavor * "Yaki" (Baked sweet potato) - Matcha Azuki flavor The "Yaki" (Japanese-style sweet potato) was quickly devoured by my sweet potato-loving children, who were supposed to have it as a dessert on the Shinkansen. However, they were full from their lunchboxes, so they ate it the next day. My eldest daughter had the chocolate flavor, my youngest daughter had the Wasanbon flavor, and I had the Matcha Azuki flavor. The Japanese-style sweet potato was delicious, with a sweet potato flavor, a moist exterior, and a fluffy interior. I also tried the "Kaku" with Wasanbon and coffee flavors. The Wasanbon flavor was, of course, delicious, but the coffee flavor was surprisingly good too. The coffee's bitterness went well with the natural sweetness of the sweet potato underneath. The expiration dates for the items purchased on August 5th are as follows: * "Kaku" (8 varieties of Naruto Kintoki) - August 15th * "Yaki" (Japanese-style sweet potato) - August 31st * "Ren" (Baked sweet potato-flavored paste candy) - September 20th The "Kaku" is an assortment of different flavors. Since everyone in my family loves sweet potatoes, I was glad I bought two boxes. PayPay payments are accepted. Thank you for the delicious treats! #TokyoStationGourmet #TokyoStationSweets #TokyoStationTakeout #TokyoStationSouvenirs #TokyoSouvenirs #NarutoKintokiHonpoKurioShotenGranstaStore #NarutoKintokiHonpo #KurioShoten #NarutoKintoki #Gransta #GranstaSouvenirs #MarunouchiSakaArea #SweetPotato #SweetPotato #PotatoCandy #PotatoSweets #SweetPotatoLover

Established in June 2012 (Heisei 27), "Naruto Kintoki Honpo Kurio Shoten Gransta Store" is a Japanese confectionery shop located on the B1F of Gransta Tokyo. With its main store in Tokushima, Shikoku, this is a long-established shop founded in 1929 (Showa 4). Known for its sweets made with the premium sweet potato "Naruto Kintoki," the Gransta store offers these exquisite treats for easy purchase. I visited on a weekend evening and there was no line, so I bought a half-baked "Kaku" made with Naruto Kintoki. This is the only "Kaku" that requires refrigeration. I enjoyed it chilled in the refrigerator. The "Kaku" is cut into dice-like pieces, making it cute and charming. When I took a bite, it was moist, sweet, and had a rare softness that was addictive. Although it's been cooked, it tasted so delicious that it felt like I was eating the premium sweet potato itself!

A specialty shop dedicated to sweets made with the premium sweet potato variety, "Naruto Kintoki." ✨ Carefully selected Naruto Kintoki are steamed and soaked in a secret sugar syrup, then cut into bite-sized squares. 💦 There's a variety of new-texture sweets, like the "Imo Kintsuba" swirl ✨ and the "Imo Yokan" drop. ✨ The shop is lined with delicious-looking sweet potato treats, all so tempting that I had a hard time choosing. ✨ This time, I purchased the "Kaku Irodori," a Gransta Tokyo exclusive. ✨ It features eight flavors: Wasanbon, salted kelp, coffee, salt, yuzu, sesame, plum, and grilled. ✨ Each flavor adds a unique accent to the simple taste, and they're all delicious. The bite-sized portions make them easy to eat. ✨ Sweet potato desserts are always delicious, making them a perfect treat for yourself or as a gift. ✨
