CITY BAKERY Theater, Grand Opening!! Everyone knows THE CITY BAKERY. All their locations are stylish, but I noticed one in Midtown Yaesu, so I checked it out! I bought some things I was curious about for breakfast the next day. 【Order】 ■ Black Tea Quiche Amand (¥453) ■ Maple Bacon Biscuit (¥432) ■ Black Tea Quiche Amand The aroma of black tea spread the moment I opened the bag! Tea leaves are sprinkled on the outside, so the aroma is strong, and the sweetness is surprisingly subtle. Quiche Amand often feels like a dessert, but this one feels like a proper bread-based quiche Amand. ■ Maple Bacon Biscuit The outside is crispy, and the center is soft and slightly sweet maple dough. The bacon in the center has a gentle saltiness and a subdued presence. The flavors blend well, so even those who don't particularly like sweet and savory combinations will find it easy to eat! This place is not self-service, you have to ask the staff to get your items. The desserts looked delicious too, so I want to try them next time! Thank you for reading this far! ✨ Today's review concludes here!
A relatively new city bakery. The store's calm atmosphere, high ceilings, and background music volume are all very pleasant. The bread is delicious, but the slightly high prices make me hesitate. When I asked them to cut the bread for sharing at the eat-in area, they thoughtfully wrapped each piece in paper for easy eating. So kind!
A croissant with egg. I usually order a cafe latte, but I was tempted by the photo and ordered a chocolate mint drink, something like a shake, and a salad with shredded cabbage. My friend ordered a cafe latte and a croissant BLT. I went in the morning, and the place was almost full. I want to try another location and try their pretzel croissant.
For breakfast on a recent day of exploring Tokyo, I enjoyed a ham and cheese hot sandwich. The mustard-infused sauce was delicious, and the bread was simply outstanding. It was also more filling than it looked. I thought it was just the right amount for a light breakfast.
I visited the Yaesu store for the first time. The staff were very kind and made it easy to go in. It was a very hot day, so I, a big fan of chocolate mint, chose mint chocolate and a cinnamon roll. The mint chocolate had a topping that tasted like crushed chocolate cookies, which was delicious. I was able to relax and enjoy myself. I'll definitely stop by again.
