I saw this place on a friend's Instagram and decided to visit during my business trip to Tokyo. They presented me with a magnificent piece of meat, the epitome of what meat should be, and allowed me to choose my favorite cut from their daily specials. The rest of the meal was equally impressive, with a selection of five appetizers from which I could choose two. Everything was delicious, not just the meat! I also left the wine selection to them, simply indicating whether I preferred red or white, and light or full-bodied. Every choice was perfect.

A popular spot known for its hearty meat dishes and natural wines. The tomato and burrata salad, as well as the liver, were particularly delicious.

The food is simple, but every dish is incredibly delicious. The classic mushroom salad and the tomato and prata are exceptional. The owner's wine selection is perfect for pairing. Congratulations on your 30th anniversary! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

A restaurant in Roppongi. The wine selection was truly amazing, and I was surprised by how delicious all the dishes were!

This is the best meat restaurant I've been to this year! It's called Shonsui in Roppongi, a wine bar and grill. The entrance is like a room in an apartment building, so you might hesitate for a second before going in. There's no real menu, it's basically all omakase (chef's choice). They have mushroom salad, mozzarella and tomato, and steak. For the steak, they bring out the meat and you get to choose! It's nice to be able to choose based on looks. This day, they had Wagyu beef liver, which only comes in once a month, if at all. The mushrooms were delicious, the mozzarella and tomato were delicious, but most importantly, the meat was amazing! I had never realized that whole roasted Wagyu beef liver could be so creamy and delicious... a new discovery. The steak was also amazing, with filet, rump, and sirloin. I think I ate about 500g per person. But I devoured it all! ^ ^ For all that delicious meat and drinks, it was only about 15,000 yen. That's incredibly good value for money! I might make this my go-to place.
