August 2022 This is a cafe in Shibuya, located within a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station. It's inside the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, a cafe that was selected as one of the "100 Best Cafes" in 2021. I went there on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm and there were 3 groups waiting. It's quite popular! (゚∀゚) It seemed like there was a turnover, and I was able to get in after waiting for about 10 minutes. I was seated by the window. From the window, you can see a garden-like view of greenery and stone. It seems to be a garden called "Kanza-tei." Today, I had the following: I was thinking about trying the shaved ice, but I was surprised by the price of around 2,500 yen, so I decided against it. lol ✔︎ Premium Melon (1,000 yen) ✔︎ Masala Chai (1,710 yen) The cake has a pop art-like brick pattern on the cross-section. The whipped cream, sponge cake, and melon are well-balanced. The melon flesh is more than I expected, and it's a cake that allows you to fully enjoy the melon. The Masala Chai is an Indian-style milk tea made with Assam tea and various spices. It's more like herbs than spices, but the aroma is incredibly strong and delicious. It comes with additional spices, so you can add more to your liking. It was enough for 3-4 cups. It comes with a tea warmer, so you can enjoy it warm until the end. The prices are on the higher side for a hotel, but the sweets and drinks are delicious, and you can relax and enjoy yourself. Thank you for the meal!(^^)♪

Visited in July 2024. Reservations are required, and the stay is limited to 3 hours, with a last order for drinks at 2 hours. Drinks include a wide selection of tea, coffee, and Chinese tea, making it hard to choose. However, they provide fragrance samples beforehand, allowing you to select your preferred tea. The milk tea was particularly delicious. I was also impressed by the sugar options that complemented the tea! The afternoon tea features a seasonal menu that is visually appealing and almost too beautiful to eat. Personally, I enjoyed the chilled corn soup, duck appetizer, scones, and cakes. The lounge on the first floor has a high ceiling, creating an open and relaxing atmosphere for enjoying afternoon tea. Ordering coffee separately in the lounge costs around ¥2,000, so having 5-6 cups made it feel very worthwhile. I plan to visit again during a different season.

This lounge offers a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. They serve exquisite cakes that are truly delightful. From the classic French religieuse to the traditional Mont Blanc and the seasonal melon shortcake, each dessert is beautifully presented and boasts a delicate sweetness that is both refined and satisfying. Hot coffee is refillable, and the royal milk tea comes in a pot, enough for about three cups. The value for money is surprisingly good. The space is truly lovely, combining a sense of escape with a comfortable ambiance. I look forward to returning to enjoy their seasonal cakes.

The hotel lounge located in the Tokyu Hotel. It's conveniently accessible from the station, so I use it occasionally. The staff are friendly and approachable, making it very easy to use. There are few decent cafes in Shibuya that are suitable for meetings, so this place is a real lifesaver. Compared to the typical cafes in Shibuya, the clientele here is much better, making it ideal for meetings. While the iced coffee costs around 1200-1500 yen, the quality of the place makes it completely acceptable. I will definitely use it again.

I visited to try the duo cake set. You can choose your cake from the samples. I chose the melon shortcake and the Mont Blanc, both of which looked delicious. I had tea to drink. The website says that coffee and cafe latte are refillable, but it wasn't mentioned on the menu. The cakes were not very sweet. For a hotel cake, the flavor was a bit underwhelming... The Mont Blanc was all cream inside. But this cake set, with two cakes and a drink for 2,700 yen, is reasonable. If you ask me if I'm dissatisfied, I'd say it's a good deal, it's quiet and open, and it's a relaxing place, so I'd like to come back again!
