I visited during the weekday tea time. I was able to make a reservation for a table. Tea time is surprisingly crowded, and it's often difficult to find a seat, so being able to reserve a table is incredibly convenient! It's highly recommended for large group gatherings. I only intended to have tea, but I ended up ordering a terrine, which was delicious. I'll definitely try the shaved ice next time.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, making it a great choice for a girls' night out or a date. You can enjoy a meal or just have tea, making it suitable for various occasions. I had a meal this time, but I really wanted to try the matcha Mont Blanc... The tea changes daily, and it was sencha this day, which was delicious. I thought it might not be very baby and kid-friendly, but there were actually some families with young children. A large stroller might be difficult, but I saw a mom with a small stroller having lunch with her baby. The staff were also very warm and welcoming.
I was searching for restaurants that accept DD Dining shareholder benefits and found this one. It's located on the 6th floor of the restaurant area in Shibuya's Fukuras. It feels a bit more relaxed than the rest of Shibuya. I hadn't made a reservation, so I was worried about getting a table, but since it was before noon, they offered me a table for a 12:45 reservation. I accepted because I was dining alone and didn't plan on staying long. I ordered the 3-course meal for 1700 yen. You can choose one side dish, so I went with the fish. I wasn't extremely hungry, so the portion was just right. However, the desserts looked so tempting, so I ordered the matcha soft serve ice cream for 900 yen. It's a bit pricey. Since it's a Kyoto Uji establishment, the daily changing tea that comes with the meal is delicious, and the matcha ice cream was also very tasty with the generous amount of sauce. There were so many other delicious-looking desserts, I thought I'd like to come back for a snack sometime.
This shop is located on the 6th floor of Shibuya Tokyu Plaza. I was planning to have dinner at a restaurant on the 7th floor at 5 pm after watching a musical, so I decided to have tea here while waiting. There were about 10 people in line, so I thought I could get in within 30 minutes, but it turned out to be over an hour wait, probably because it was a holiday. It was comfortable since there were chairs to sit on, but I would recommend making a reservation if possible. Since I was having dinner soon, I ordered a matcha latte, which was perfectly balanced in temperature and taste. I would definitely like to visit this place again and relax.
This restaurant is located inside the Tokyu Plaza Shibuya. The tea leaves used for their meals and sweets are from "Kyoto Uji Fujii Tea Garden," a renowned tea garden with over 480 years of history. I had the "Chakaiseki Zen," a one-soup-and-three-dish meal that features Kyoto-style obanzai (home-cooked dishes) served with tea. The presentation was beautiful. You can choose from three different obanzai dishes, and they were all delicious. Besides the rice dishes, they also have a wide selection of sweets. Their Uji matcha creme brulee parfait, hojicha-based desserts, and zenzai (sweet red bean soup) all look tempting. The large windows offer a great view of the Shibuya cityscape. It's a relaxing place to enjoy a taste of Japanese culture in a spacious setting. #Shibuya #ShibuyaCafe #TokyuPlaza #TokyuPlazaShibuya #Lunch #ShibuyaLunch #TokyoCafe #Matcha #Tea #카페 #일본카페 #교토 #커피숍 #cafelover #cafestagram
