A Reliable Deliciousness! - A Review. Located on the second basement floor of Ginza SIX, this popular bakery offers freshly baked goods. I visited to get some breakfast for the next morning ✨ 【Order】 ■ Sausage (¥475) ■ Carrot Cake (¥324) ■ Sausage The large, thick sausage is paired with a chewy, dense bread. It's topped with sauerkraut and covered in cheese, making it mild. It's just the right amount of food for breakfast. ■ Carrot Cake The cake is packed with finely chopped carrots, making it dense and moist. It's also mixed with nuts and raisins, adding a fun texture. The cream on top was so delicious, I wish there was twice as much! Ginza SIX is an easy place to get to, so I'd definitely like to visit again ✨
A bakery in Ginza Six! I happened to stop by and they were just baking melon bread, so I couldn't resist buying one. www I forgot to take a picture, but I also bought a pain au chocolat. The melon bread had cooled down by the time I ate it, but it was still incredibly delicious and I was completely satisfied! They have a limit of 3 per person and there were quite a few people waiting for the fresh-baked ones, which is understandable! I definitely want to go back for more melon bread.
In my personal opinion, Jean-François' melon pan is the best in the world! The Yokohama Melon Pan is ¥237 (limited to 3 per person). I highly recommend trying one. The long lines that form every hour are because of the freshly baked, piping hot melon pan, with its crispy exterior and fluffy, buttery interior. They often sell out within minutes, and some people even wait an hour for the next batch. Second place goes to the Croissant Almond at ¥421. Jean-François' signature flaky croissant layers are still there, with a generous amount of fragrant, lightly sweet almond cream. There's a hint of rum in the aroma. And I always buy the Le-Le at ¥259. While the Milk French is a chewy, elastic French bread with a firm milk cream, the Le-Le is a Viennese bread with a soft, fluffy texture and a generous amount of fluffy milk cream that extends to the edges. Other recommendations include: - The W Cheese Cake Danish at ¥380, which offers the best value for your money. - The Cold Rare Cheese Cream Pan at ¥280. - The Mentaiko French at ¥324, developed in collaboration with Hakata Yamaya. This bakery is the kind of place you want everyone to know about, but also want to keep a secret.
The bread was delicious, but I was disappointed that the staff were chatting amongst themselves while ringing me up, and even though I paid for a paper bag, they tried to put my purchase in a plastic bag. Furthermore, one of the staff members suddenly crouched down next to the register to take a drink, which surprised me. While I understand the need for hydration, I wish they would do it in a less visible area. Overall, the store felt rather dirty.
The "Pain de Mie" (sandwich bread) in the basement of G-SIX is delicious. Jean-Francois It's moist and soft, with a smooth texture and a pleasant mouthfeel. I stop by after work. I recommend trying the "Pain de Mie" without toasting it first. The melon pan is also good, not too sweet. Jean-Francois is a recipient of the M.O.F. (Meilleur Ouvrier de France), the highest honor for artisans in France. The bread is made to suit Japanese palates, and you can feel the care that went into it.
