Shoyu ramen with a large portion for 1050 yen. While it's a completely simple shoyu ramen, even with a large portion (probably 1.5 servings for a regular large portion), it's over 1000 yen... It used to be around 600 yen when I went there often... I was disappointed that the drum can in front of the store was gone, but I noticed it was on the opposite side of the entrance when I was leaving (happy). Oh, the taste was a bit gamey at first, which lowered my mood... Was it always like this? After eating a few bites, the smell disappeared and I changed the flavor with the garlic and pepper on the table. As expected, traditional shoyu ramen is overwhelmingly delicious with garlic (happy). I almost drank all the soup... Thank you for the meal.

On October 25, 2024, after visiting a nearby television station, I stumbled upon a highly-rated ramen shop and decided to give it a try. The shop was tucked away quite a bit, down a narrow alleyway off the main road where only one car could pass at a time. The sign appeared after walking down the alley, and turning at the sign, I found the shop on the second floor, up a flight of stairs at the end of the path. The interior was cozy, with a counter seating six and two tables. I purchased the recommended "Ichi-San-Go" ramen and a half-portion of rice from the vending machine inside and took a seat. When I returned from the restroom, my ramen and rice were already on the table. Wow, that was fast! The ramen noodles were the kind of curly thin noodles I love, typical of Sapporo ramen. The broth had a familiar taste, but it was decent. The "Ichi-San-Go" only had roast pork, bamboo shoots, and scallions, and they were all just average. By the way, I thought the portion of noodles and broth was on the smaller side. Overall, it wasn't quite good enough to warrant a four-star rating, so I gave it three stars.

I was in Roppongi for work, so I searched for ramen on Retty and found Tenhou, which was close by and had high ratings. I followed the map, but when I got there, I couldn't find any ramen shop. For a moment, I panicked, thinking I had taken a wrong turn, but then I saw a sign for Tenhou outside! If it weren't for the sign, I would have been even more flustered. I recommend using the sign with the image uploaded as a landmark. Following the sign, I entered the building, passing by a flower shop on my left, its rich fragrance filling the air. At the back of the building, hidden from view, I found Tenhou down a curved corridor. The restaurant wasn't very large, but the seating felt spacious. I bought a ticket from the vending machine at the entrance. Miso ramen was listed on Retty, so I chose it without hesitation. When I sat down and handed over my ticket, I saw a sign that said, "Our recommendation is the 135." I felt a pang of regret, but I reassured myself that I really wanted miso ramen today and waited for my meal. The miso ramen was a classic Sapporo style, a flavor that's becoming increasingly rare these days. But for me, who was craving that very miso ramen, it was exactly what I wanted. Next time, I'd like to try the "135" ramen.

I finally made it to "Tenhou", a place that's been right under my nose for so long! ♪( ´▽`) The name itself makes you want to play mahjong, haha. Since I'll probably be unable to eat this kind of food when I get older, I ordered the default "135 Chashu Ramen" while I'm still young and healthy, instead of a low-sodium option. It wasn't overly rich, nor was it too light - just the right kind of ramen. The flavor wasn't too strong, and the noodles weren't too hard. Honestly, it lacked a bit of impact and left me feeling a little underwhelmed (・_・; ARE? But it was definitely good! The chashu wasn't greasy at all, it was actually quite light. I'll have to try something else next time!

A long-established, renowned ramen shop loved by locals for many years. Shining brightly like it's defying the passage of time (laughs), this is "135 Ramen." 1. Firm noodles 3. Rich in oil 5. Salty This "Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen" has a strong personality (laughs) and a presence that fills the room. The noodles are curly and delicious, and the flavor of the soup, including the seasoning, is addictive. This is still true even after the shop has changed hands.
