I bought a few baked goods. The next day, when I was about to eat the cookies, I was surprised to see that the expiration date was the day before (the day I bought them). It wasn't expired when I bought them, so it's fine, but I wish they had mentioned it. (Since I bought several, it's reasonable to assume I would eat them over a few days.) By the way, the other cookies had an expiration date of 10 to 13 days later.
A cozy cafe located about a 3-minute walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. The interior is clean and stylish. With only a couple of tables, it fills up quickly. The coffee-flavored parfait, while a bit pricey, has a refined taste.
Visited in 2020. A delightful snack stand with an attached gallery. The interior features glass works by local artists. For a moment, I wondered if it was okay to just have tea there, but it's also quite nice to spend time admiring the artwork. I ordered the fruit shaved ice (¥850 + tax). It was a shaved ice with blueberries, raspberries, apricots, figs, red shiso, and kiwi. The ice itself was shaved in a standard way. However, the syrup-soaked fruits were delicious and plentiful. The gentle, homemade flavors were comforting even on a hot day. The cakes and baked goods also looked tempting. I'd like to come back and relax with just a cup of coffee. I never knew this place existed, even though I used to buy vegetables from the greengrocer next door. It's a shame I didn't find out about it sooner. I wish I had known about it before I moved here.
A bakery specializing in sweets made with herbs and spices. Cookies are their main focus, with the most variety, but they also offer pound cakes, chocolate terrines, and more! There's a space inside where you can eat, and their ginger lemonade looks delicious. The whole shop was filled with the aroma of ginger. ^ ^ This time I had a parfait. I'd love to try their drinks next time. This is a great place to pick up a gift for someone. I got a carrot cake and a chocolate terrine to take home.
This is a small cafe near Kiyosumi Garden. They have a variety of Western-style cakes and baked goods. The ginger milk I ordered was mild and delicious.
