The innkeeper's smile and kind words are so comforting. I had the pork cutlet simmered in a savory sauce for lunch, and it was very filling and satisfying. Rice refills are also available. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This restaurant is located near Ueno Station on the JR East Line. Their lunch sets are a great value at ¥1,000 and come with generous portions. I had the katsu curry, which was delicious.

A place I want to support. It has a good old-fashioned Showa era atmosphere. It's old but kept clean. The inside feels like time moves differently than outside. A peaceful time. It's a family-run business, I think. They're friendly but maintain a good distance. The food is just plain good. The portions are quite large. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the curry plate is deep, and I was full.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The rice bowls are small, but refills are free. The crispy pork cutlet was made with high-quality pork, tender and delicious. The only minor issue was that the oil wasn't drained well enough, so the breading became soggy towards the end. I'll definitely try the cutlet curry next time.

I went there for dinner. The tonkatsu set was 1,400 yen. It came with a large tonkatsu, rice, miso soup, and three side dishes. The tonkatsu was crispy and delicious! The rice was shiny! The miso soup tasted like home cooking! I couldn't stop eating! The staff were friendly and made me feel at home. I'll definitely go back!
